I really enjoyed your article Mike,

It reminded me of an experience when I was in my 20s and just getting started in my career. A life insurance salesman knocked on my apartment door, and having paid a good part of my way through college selling dictionaries door-to-door, I had a soft spot in my heart for people who made a living knocking on doors, and mostly getting them slammed shut in their face, so I let this guy come in. Once seated he said Mr. Pittman, what do you want out of life? (I knew he expected me to reply with something along the lines of: “Make enough money by 45 so I can retire and travel the world…” and of course he’d have a plan and policy to enable just that. But what he didn’t expect or have an insurance policy for was what I replied : “I want to live an interesting life.”
