Loved that piece, and could only chuckle when I was reminded my parents also told my 6 year old self I would be a Baptist preacher. Instead I went on to study philosophy in my first few years of college adopting views about organized religion and beliefs about spirituality and human nature that caused my parents to feel they had utterly failed in their job.
