Sad but true; because the anti-vaxxers decided the science-guided guidance (aka 'rules') for slowing (to an eventual halt) the spread would violate their 1st Amendment 'right' to free-speech-- as a protected form of self expression -- the pandemic evolved into a pandemic of the un-vaccinated, and by negating the possibility of protection for the overall population to reach herd immunity. What I havent heard is the anti-vaxxers talking about is their part in obliterating the path to herd immunity for the greater good of those vaxxed and not, while claiming protection of 1st Amendment rights while trampling on my right to live safety by not breathing the un-filtered expirations of anti-vaxxers.
